1845-1849Density and ultrasonic velocity of furfurylidene-thioacetamide (FTA), 3-nitrobenzylidene-2-aminothiazole (NAT) and 4-chlorobenzylidene-thioacetamide (CTA) and their complexes with Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) have been measured in methanol at 303.15 K. The apparent molar volume, acoustic impedance, adiabatic compressibility, intermolecular free length, molar sound velocity (Rao's constant), molar compressibility (Wada' s constant) and solvation number have been calculated from the experimental data. The results are discussed in the light of solute-solvent interaction and structural effects on the solvent in solution
